About two weeks ago, one of our 150+year old maples let go of a major branch..about 30" or better in diameter. That hit a 24" diameter Cherry tree which uprooted it ..and laid it over on top of my 87 944 parts car and a little bit on the garage. It caved the roof, got the windshield, the driver's door, sunroof, but missed the back hatch..No insurance on the parts car any way.. Now it really is a "parts car"...Suspension bits and shocks all seem to be OK though..Anybody need something?Thanks.
My truck from 2011 tornado. That's the top of a 3 foot Sycamore that hit the windshield, you can't see the 2 and 1/2 foot Poplar that landed on the bed. The dash was cruched and turned on the 4 way flashers. My wife's VW Passat got crushed too by another tree. One 944 got water damage thru the open sunroof when another tree went thru the garage roof
