I went to look at a red 85 1/2 944 today and pulled the vin number off the car. The vin is WP0AA0949FN457117. If someone could please run a carfax just to make sure there are no problems that would be very helpful. The guy is asking $2500 for the car. It has a dent in the back left fender, the interior is in pretty decent shape, The engine started right up after a cold start, has a new timing belt, spring disc clutch and tires. The paint was dirty but seemed to be in good condition. The coolant was clear as well Does this sound like a good deal? I think i will start out and offer him 2k and see if he bites. I am going to test drive the car on friday and take it to a shop for a ppi. Thanks for the help

I don't know about your area but here that's a steal, if it passes a PPI hand him 25 $100 bills before he has a chance to think about it.
