i NEED A LSD TRANNY for my 87 951, i will trade someone my 86 944 na which needs a clutch for a rebuilt tranny. i need to get rid of the na anyways, so someone please help me out.

Good luck man, if I had the room for another '44 i would trade you.....

they pop up on ebay every now and then, or you can have one built for way less than 3k, so maybe selling the '44 would be the best option for you? or has that not gone so well?

 

i'm trying to sell the 944 too. but i see other people with way better ones for the same price (2000) and mine needs a clutch motor mounts, and probably a paint job.

stoked, maybe you should get in contact with Andy Kihm (nine-44), hes in cincy, and he can probably get one, or might be interested. andy is a great guy and im sure if he cant do anything, he would point you in the right direction.

 

thanks harry. oh and fishey i know what you are thinking, but thats not why. haha. i was just driving normal on the freeway and i downshifted to 4th to pass someone and it just made the worst sound i've ever heard. like everything inside the tranny just crumbled. and no gear except fifth would work, so i drove all the way home in fith, including stopping at a stop light and coming out in fifth. gay.
