Default 968 Wheel offset...

I was curious what is the offset on stock 968 wheels? I am getting one tomorrow which has stock wheels and was looking to go bigger....Do 19" fit or is 18" the largest that will fit...

Any input???

Thanks...

Anything over 17" isn't reccomended by Porsche
18's will fit, although too big for the car IMHO and will give you a very harsh ride
19's might fit, don't know of anyone who's tried....but they would look HUGE in there. You would also end up with so small a tire you'd probably break the rims on every pothole you hit.

I agree with Scootin: 17's are probably the highest you can safely go. Maybe 18's.

You can fit 19's in there if you want. Here's my 951 with 19x8, 19x9, ET49(+spacers), 225/40, 255/35 rubber (note: correct sizes would have been 225/35, 255/30 ... stupid tire shop screwed up).

Felt like crap, now I have same wheels but in 18", much better.
