Pulsating clutch pedal

I seem to be feeling the engine vibration through the clutch pedal. When I push the pedal down when the car is off it is as smooth as silk but when I start the car up, I can feel the rpm through the pedal. When I depress the clutch, I can actually feel pulsing on the way down like the engine is pushing back up on the pedal. The frequency of pulsations even varies with engine speed.
I looked at the motor mounts but they don't look any worse than they did previously. Slave seems Ok and the clutch, clutch lever, slave, and other goodies were replaced about 13K ago. Again, when the car is not running, it is smooth like before.
Any ideas?

The diaphram spring on the clutch is warped and/or the clutch disk is worn. Could also be a bit of the rubber center caught up between the disk. flywheel and pressure plate on one side.
How old is the clutch?

The clutch was replaced at the dealer in 2000. All Porsche parts were used. The car has seen only occasional spirited runs and some stop and go traffic over the last 13K miles. No racing or competition of any kind. It is a turbo and I didn't think they had rubber centers. Is there an easy way to check for warped components?
