Antonioali: Do not rush into the turbo front with out knowing exactly what you need and are doing. There are alot of surprises that you will run into with fitting(MAJOR Pain in the a$$) and the lights. Take it from a guy that ran into it half assed(me) its really a project that you have to take your time on to get it truly right also if you are not doing it your self be prepaired to spend $$$$. Now that I am done with my warning "lol" If you have any questions about the project or want an overview of all the parts involved(theres more than you think) feel free to PM me.

Don't forget to add in the fact that you want to re-inforce the bumper with some sort of shock absorbing set up for protection. The best way to do this is to source a 951 aluminum bumper brace and some 951 bumper shocks. You will need to shave the front of the brace flat to fit the profile of the fake 951 fiberglass bumper cover and re-locate (mount it back more) or eliminate the screw-in mount for the tow-eye.

well im getting the fiberwerks bumper and i spoke to the guy there and the guy at 944online.com and they said they have instructions with the bumper. My brotherinlaw has a bodyshop and does a great job on cars. He restores old mustangs, show cars etc and he said he will do if for 1600 and thats taking the old bumper off and putting the new one on. It would cost me more then 3000 to get it done anywhere else. I will get some pics on line as soon as its done. I got a new hood crest and a new 944 tag for the back. And like i said, if anyone is interested in the original bumper or my 944 front plate let me know.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the Fiberworks bumper the one that, in no way looks like a turbo bumper, and re-uses the 944 non-turbo fog lights? If that is the case, you are getting ripped off for $1600.
Not saying anything bad about it, just that it is not the turbo bumper and should be plug-n-play.

wait a minute, 1600 to take off the N/A front valance. And install the so called turbo look fiberwerks nose?????
I swapped mine in under an hour!!!!!!!!!!! I'll do it for 100!!!!

sorry i should have included this in the previous msg, the 1600 is to get the bumper put on and paint the whole car(brotherinlaw owns a bodyshop) I already paid for the bumper at 944online.com $500. And i was told that the original turbo bumper does not fit the 944 n/a. And your right, its the one where you re use the foglights. I like the car but i think that bumper ads a better look to the frontend of the car.

Well, they do sell reproductions of a 951 bumper that is contoured properly to fit the non-turbo 944 fenders and flatter nose/header panel. GT Racing, Performance Products, and various others sell them.
I think that the Fiberworks nose is nice, but don't confuse it with being a "turbo bumper". I think that is where I got conused here....sorry!
