Hey, I've got PM turned off because of issues with the computer, but could you send me an e-mail? I'll give you the info there.
I haven't had any luck finding that higher-performance A/C condenser I saw earlier - anyone else know what I'm talking about? Is it even the condenser? It's the radiator thing that goes in the heater box under the dash, not the radiator thing that goes in front of the radiator. Someone makes a more efficient one to replace the stock one on our car.

I just edited my previous post to reflect the 10%.
Total cost is $457.50, not the 467.50 I had entered...
Also, due to the discount and low margins, he would like a check for each as payment (otherwise he pays another 4%). Seems reasonable to me.
Sam, I can send email tonight when I get home.

That kit is a piece of ****.
First off, the brackets don't align even remotely close without stacking a ton of washers as spacers.
Secondly, the brackets crack.
Thirdly, the cheesey, thin, aluminum compressor 90 degree fittings crack due to vibration.
Lastly, to expect that a barbed fitting with a hose clamp will seal properly and not leak, is a a joke at best.
REMEMBER... YOU HAVE TO "CUT" YOUR FACTORY LINES TO FIT THIS KIT. ONCE YOU DO THAT... THERE IS NO GOING BACK. IF YOU CUT YOUR LINES TO FIT THIS KIT, YOU ARE A FOOL.
Finally.... I've got a slightly used compressor just like the one pictured (the kit from Vertex which is the exact kit pictured)... I've taken it off my car, and replaced with a used factory style compressor. I'll sell it to the first $100 + shipping.
The compressor is a great compressor. The mounting, fittings, and the rest of the hardware are a joke.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. GET A FACTORY COMPRESSOR.

If you are wanting to convert your system to 134 all you need is an O-ring kit and use your existing compressor. If your compressor is shot, try having it rebuilt, or just check to make sure the clutch is still good.
Here is a link to the AC 134 Retrofit Kit.
http://www.944racing.com/Search/View...earchType=Main
As far as the group buy price being good.
http://www.944racing.com/Search/View...earchType=Main
AC Compressor With Clutch: $289.84
AC Conversion Bracket Kit: $93.99
New AC Drier: $29.79
Total: $413.62
Ground shipping should not be more than $15.00 anywhere.
Those are all of the same parts listed in that kit.

Now that there's new information here, I'm going to hold off on the group-buy for now. Unfortunately, I don't have more time this week to spend on this.
Thanks,
Chris

Andrew,
I just looked at the picture of the kit from 944Racing.com. Why are there so many o-rings? Surely not all of those items go into a single car, let alone a single 944.
