Yes ,the speaker configuration IS different- I guess you know that from the e-bay pic by now though...
USED turbo S panels, w/armrests, pockets, etc, usually go for $200 - $800 a pair, w/the norm (from what I'VE seen), being in the $300 - $400 neighborhood- a lot depends on color demand- black seeems to get the premium... I found my 968 panels w/armrests, pockets & speakers, etc for $500 & jumped all over them- SEE how this guy want's $250 for ONE? NOW I dont feel so bad for wanting HALF of what I paid for the 968's- $250- but, again, as I've told several other's, I'd take a little less, as they're NOT PERFECT- they are pretty damn close though...
W/all the e-mail's I've gotten from this thread alone, I should probably throw them on ebay myself
For those of you who are interested- I'll get out to look at them early next week & see if they're still looking like they should be...
BTW- the "hole" in the panels for the 5.25" speaker- it's really just for teh magnet- it just BARELY slides into it- recesses ~1/8" total- the window arm gets in the way otherwise.... THIS is what prevents people from mounting larger speakers there...
