Default Help identifying this thing

Eight years after dismantling it's almost back together and while I bagged and labelled but this part was laying by itself on the shelf for body parts. I don't remember taking it off and don't know what it is. It's black plastic and has a 944 number. My chassis is 968 but there are plenty of 944 and 951 part #s in it.

Anyone know what it is?

Look in the seats catalog.

Shows to be the upper bearing shell for the rear seat pivot hinge.

That looks like the piece that holds the split rear seat backrests down in the middle.
