Wire / contact corrosion? (****ty ground??)
Too much friction in the mechanism and the window guides?

I know it sounds simple.. did you check the fuse? It may have blown when the AC was hooked back up..

On which car?- New or old window switches?

Lightbulb Window Problems

I need to take apart my passenger door on my 928. Something is scratching my tint.

Call me if you want to get together and tear our cars apart.

Check your PM for my cell number.

James

How did you check the motor?

These are DC (Direct Current) motors. To reverse the direction you reverse the leads. So when you say you tested the motor directly and it only went one way...

If the motor works one way it works both ways. The problem is with the switch. Either the one that directly controls the window on the passenger side or the remote switch on the drivers door. Or both.
