Offered to Buy 2000 MB E320 4 Matic

So, he's within 6,000 miles and/or less than 1 year (depending on the date of sale) from the car being out of warranty.
This is the case for a lot of these cars, coming off leases, etc.
The two worst problems I had were a squeaky blower motor that was replaced under warranty, and a seat frame support that would make some noises, that I also replaced under warranty. Probably a lot of people would have never noticed these. Everything else was really small stuff.
I have heard that the back power windows can be troublesome, I would make sure that both roll down and up without any "bad" noises coming from the window tracks.
You should be able to achieve almost 30MPG on the highway with the 6-cylinder. Maybe a little less because of the AWD.
Are the wheels chromed? A lot of the E320's out here had the wheels chromed from the dealer. In my opinion, that's a minus.
Check the book to see at what mileages the "A" and "B" services were done. Also, ask the current owner to show you on the FSS (Flexible Service System) display screen on the dash when the next service is coming up, and let us know all of this information - it gives an indication of how the car was driven.

Thanks - I will once - get back to you all for more advice once I take a look at his car - the wheels are not chromed nor are they the AMG ones - they are the typical conservitive ones
