Getting the keg is easy, yes it comes in good beer, the price of the keg just goes up as the quality of beer goes up.

For example
keg of PBR: $45 dollars
keg of Bud Light / Miller Light etc: $70ish
Keg of Guiness $240 dollars....

I picked up the tab for the last one, and purchased the tap in hopes that we would keep using the tap. We have a few days to discuss it. I just know I can't foot the bill for another keg, those willing to chip in would be greatly appreciated.

that's weird, since PBR is better than Bud/Miller...?

anyway, what is the best value, IYHO?
Red Hook, or something? Saranac? am I making things up here?

I would certainly pitch in the $$ that I would spend on the beer I'd be bringing (like 8-10bucks, LOL) Think anyone else would be interested?

of course, we'd all be drinking the same thing then.... could be a problem in such a diverse group?

I vote for the PBR again, how can you beat the deal of 224 Beers for just 45 dollars....

Ian,

Do you know how many people will be coming? If there are more than about 10-15 people, I think the keg will be worthwhile, and I will be happy to contribute to make sure you don't get stuck paying for it. If less than ten people, then I will bring over some German beer for everyone. (Warsteiner)

I feel like we will have more than 10 guys this time, we gave a lot of warning and there have been various people that said they might make it.....

But honestly I have no idea whom will show up....
9 guys giving 5 dollars covers the cost of the keg.... of pbr or 9 guys giving 10 dollars buys something none PBR lovers might consider good. (although I do enjoy a pbr......)

What else is in the Bud/Miller range? Anything brown?

Ian, I'm not sure if I can make it or not But am willing to contribute either way just incase. Pbr, I don't know never tried it. I just like picking on cheaper beers that seem to have outlasted there years. I never tried black lable either. I can give the money to Keith incase I don't make it. How much parking do you have?
