half-price Koni strut conversion, 87-88 944 Turbo

Two sets available for immediate delivery.

I have two sets of mismatched 87-88 944 Turbo struts that need to make room for complete sets. Per set, one strut is from the 87-88 951 while the other is from the 86 951.

The offer is for 1/2 price normal conversion ($55/pr v. $110/pr) plus the cost of the 8641-1414S and normal s/h. Can be modified for use of adjustable ride height kit (lower perch removal, +$25/pr).

The differences are slight, but noticeable. They will fit with no modification and actually came from 87-88 951's. The differences are: brake line tab is mounted on the lower spindle clamp horizontally (86) verses on the body at a 45 degree angle (87), and the accessory mounting tab (for ABS harness, pad wear sensor harness) are oriented slightly different. For concours prepared cars, this might be a hit... all others is simply a slight visual difference. Both have identical brake duct mounting tabs.

Email me directly for details: skip@paragon-products.com

Thanks!

BUMP - still have one set... anyone...

Cass944 11-12-2003 08:36 PM

how about an 86 n/a heh.

i read the post a few times but i must just be to tired to figure it out.

is this for a set or just one? when you say two sets of mismatched shocks does that mean there are 4 different ones?

sorry I'll smack myself

No problem, Brett. I have one more set of mismatched struts - one from an 86 951, the other from an 87 951. I am looking for someone who has the 87 or 88 951 that would be returning their struts as cores.

FYI, the 86 na uses strut inserts as normal - you do not need to convert to replace the inserts...

Hi Skip,

The photo at http://www.paragon-products.com/imag...struts_001.jpg is no longer available.

If you have the time, can you post an updated link to the image?

Thanks.

Karl.
