Door Handle -> updated linkage & roll pin -> needs circlip?
On '86 944 Turbo I am replacing the door handle linkage with new parts. I have the new linkage and the new roll pin (94453763700 -> photo below).
->Does this require a circlip to keep it from coming out? I see no reference to this on PET or the forums, but the end of the piece has a groove where a circlip would fit. Unlike the original roll pin that was a friction fit (and required a punch to remove) the new "roll pin" is more like a shaft that is loose and will easily fall out.
UPDATE: After multiple searches found the picture below that appears to have a circlip...anyone have a part number?

You ever find out any info on the circlip? Looking at the SAME thing now. Need a circlip.

Not something I've touched, but FWIW I don't see a circlip on the parts diagram. Did it come out with a circlip on it? If you shoot me the size circlip needed, I can give you a VW/Audi/Porsche part number that should work. Measure the diameter of the pin where the circlip sits.

Yep, no circlip on the parts diagram.
I ended up finding the one I needed. It is -- for everyone's future reference -- a 1/8" E-Clip. It looks like the attached. I got one from the BMW dealer (was there for another car). They have a box of E-Clips from a supplier in all sizes. I would bet you could find these at auto parts store or hardware stores.
Apparently Porsche changed from the roll pin to this pin. The roll pin fits tightly, and I guess is one (or two) time use only. Once you remove it and reinstall it, it may fall out. This is what happened to me. I even tried to flatten it out, or "peen" it at the end, however, didn't work esp with the fragile crappy pot metal these script door handles are made of.
Also - I could not do this without removing door panel AND window / dropping the window regulator.
