Default Euro-spec 944 in LA

In case somebody is looking for one:
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/car/17613511.html
I have no affiliation with the seller (I don't even live in LA anymore) -- just came across it surfing the web.

The Euro Spec engines have a few more ponies because of a higher compression ratio (the piston tops are not dished) and lower fuel/air ratio.

The Euro Spec DME does not use an O2 sensor, so the fuel/air mixture is "fixed" by the maps in the ROM chips.

Interestingly, MY88 US-spec and Euro-spec have the same compression ratios. What's also funny about the Euro-spec cars are that they are slightly lighter -- not sure what accounts for the weight, though. Lighter bumpers and cats, don't seem to be enough -- but the Euro bumpers look much better than US bumpers.
