Isn't the definition of a transaxle is when the transmission and differential all built into one case?
The 356 Porsche doesn't use a transaxle?

And nearly every Porsche ever built? 911 comes to mind.

Automotive writers are good at writing about cup holders, tushy Warmer's, etc. They call AAA when they get a flat tire.

Actually, the guys at Hemmings are, for the most part, real car guys. I've seen some good stuff on the All American Racers, historic F1, rally, Ford RS cars, the Ford GT40 and the Shelby Daytona Cobras in recent offerings.

They do have a lot of stuff on old American cars which I do not particularly find interesting, but there are plenty out there that like that stuff.
