Sway bar and alignment
I'm completing a suspension rebuild on the 944. The drop link bushings have not been shipped despite several calls to the supplier. They are one the way and will arrive Friday afternoon.
The car needs to come off the lift today (Thursday) and have an alignment.
Do I put the sway bar in with old drop links and have the alignment?
Will the alignment hold if I leave the sway bar out and install once bushings arrive?
The car will be trailered from work garage to alignment shop.

It is actually a requirement to disconnect the sway bars when you have the car corner balanced... But you're probably not having that done.
Sway bars have no impact on alignment. You can put it on later at your leisure.

I'll remember your corner balancing point if and when that happens.
