Can leather seats be repaired or fixed if it's got a tear in the leather or worn?
If not, are seat covers a good option or not?

If the rip is much larger than a half inch I will say no for repair. If they are stock seats chances are the leather has hardened to the point that it will not stretch enough to close the gap or even allow for a decent patch. I have been struggling to determine if I should get mine recovered or buy a new pair.

Seat covers are an option, but I say sheep skin is the only decent alternative. I have yet to see any cover that really looks good. If you can afford it, get them recovered.

Go to a local auto upholstery shop. You'll be surprised by what a good shop can do for less money than buying a set of sheepskins. I just had the passenger side side cushion redone (DAPO kept a box of files on the seat and it tore the leather after 10 years of this).
