Norm from the TV show Cheers.

I guess I could have called him Barney from the Simpsons.

You got family with us rennlisters Sid. Anytime you are in Calif., I am sure a number of us will put you up for a few days and show you around. You may have to slave on a couple cars though as we seem to have lots of broken ones around here.....

Shoot, you think that's bad. The parts counter at the local Porsche dealer knows me by name as well. Now that's a $$$ problem.

"I may have a drinking problem"

I read that and thought you'd seen the bottom of your glass. That would be a drinking problem. j/k

I've been there. I used to live in a bar. Never got locked in though - I had my own keys.

Keith - I used to know my local dealer so well, I once needed a part they didnt have and he went and grabbed it off a car in the service department, gave me that one and ordered one to replace it. They used to call everytime they got something cool in!

People say drinking alcohol is bad for you. I beg to differ. After all, everyone knows that alcohol kills germs.

Guys guys guys, and gals.

The whole bit about this was the bartender willing to leave me in the bar alone while she went home. I thought it was funny, and can't imagine it happens very often.

I had friend of mine go to Italy. He pretty good beer drinker here. One night after a nice conversation in small local pub (I think it was the bottom of the hotel). The bartender decided to go to bed and he told my buddy to Make drink for yourself. He went and did that. Some people came in and he was the defacto bartender for the evening. Kind of fun for him. He left all the money for the bartender to get in the morning.

I could never see that happening here.
