Bummer...I was hoping it was a simple ground issue like mine. On you car are you getting air bubbles after driving it hard? All the time? What happens if you stay off the boost? I'm wondering if the head isn't lifting a bit.

i do have the capability and i'm not running lean - if anything, i'm a little rich - full blue on the ARM under WOT. and a perfect, quick dither during cruise...

i've never been down this road (if it is the HG...) so i'm wondering if there is a physical way to check the HG by looking at it in situ??

mike - can't really find a rhyme or reason to it - it seemed to gather more air in the system after sitting for 2 months in dry storage. doesn't seem to be related to how hard i push it...

The only ways I know how to check the headgasket in situ are to check the plugs as already suggested and to run a pressure check. If a plug is too clean it's likely being washed by water/coolant.

The bubbles in the expansion tank with the engine running and the cap off of the system is an ominous sign.

ok - i'm on it. i do get bubbles, but can bleed them away - at least for a while (few days/weeks) its not like its a constant stream....(fingers crossed)
