Default Should OT's be in the OT forum?

I've been guilty of it too. Sometimes it's too tempting to post a funny Ebay item or similar.

Has the 944/951/968 forum become inundated with OT's? It's frustrating to see a valuable post get pushed 2 or 3 pages back by 20, or so, OT's. Then again some of them are very entertaining.

I prefer to read my OT's in OT.

I'd vote for option 3, except I'm not drinking alcohol for a while...

Although I suppose I should make a serious response, too...

Honestly, I don't think there's enough "off-topic" banter to really justify making any huge changes. Besides, it's the very same banter that draws me to these forums. Car talk is definately important, but if that's all we ever talk about, it'll get kind of boring.

So long as it's listed as "off topic" in the subject, I'm a happy man.

I like the mix of OT posts. To tell you the truth I almost never venture over to the OT board myself. How about that pic post in the turbo forums last week. That rocked!!!

They should be, but then I guess that would have relegated this to the OT forum as well :>)

I voted "put anything anywhere", but .. I don't think the moderator should sort it. If someone owns a 944, they'll most likely post something in their 'comfort zone' because they know the people. It's like if you're hanging out with your buddies, and make an *** of yourself - they know who you are and that you're not normally that was, versus if you were to meet an entirely different group of people and on the first and only night do something that makes you look like an idiot. Anyway, you get where I'm going with this ..

Not enough traffic on the OT forum. I like seeing that stuff here anyway.

Actually Travis, it was your post on the A/F that I was looking for. Found it 3 pages back.
