Out of my price range. I have spending ceiling of $30k. I'm leaning more toward the 328 or 330 than the Z3.

The E46s also rank towards the bottom as far as reliablilty BUT I have not known anyone that had problems. I have seen numerous cars where the interior build quality was GARBAGE. Even a new M3 where the inner window seal had fallen off after 9K miles. That being said it didnt stop us from buying an E46 330ci. However, the treatment by the dealer prompted me to return it to them. You may not experience the same things we did. Personally, I REALLY want an (Z3 M Coupe) M coupe next and that should be in your price range. We like our 330 a whole bunch we just hated the dealer. So far out E34 has been virtually trouble free.
