So I just replaced the window on my car and then I turn the engine over it starts up right away but there's this sound coming from the bell housing that sounds like the starter is sticking out and constantly hitting the flywheel but when I took it off and into my work to get tested it passed as fine but there's a tiny almost washer like stop for the starter teeth and that broke off and I only found half also, any ideas before I spend a lot of money for a new starter?
