Well, I emailed your connection, however I didn't get a responce. I can see how he must be busy. I let a week go by and dropped it off to the dealer I bought it from here in Red Bank. I'll get it back in two weeks.

See you tomorrow

I need a new plastic crystal on my '73 Sub! How much does that run--anybody know??

My luck, I'll bring it to Rolex for a $40 crystal, and they'll call me and tell me they overhauled the watch for $700!

Haha!

Last time I did a crystal on my old Tutone Oyster it was only about 60 bucks!.. I did get an overhaul as well.

I just wish the bands did not stretch as the watches get older, the new bands are insane! (Probably not an issue on the Sub)

The '99 Subs had the saphire crystals. $150, I believe?

Marc- The Sub's Oyster bracelet stretches too, but not as bad as the Jubilee bands. My band actually seperated twice (the links came apart). I used crazy glue to stick them back together. A new band is like $400 on the internet!

Well, I never had an issue with the band however the crystal on my sub is some kind of non plastic. Im not sure, saphire sounds about right. I dodn't get a bill yet though. I think 150 is a little steep?

Now that we've hijacked the thread, I'll wear my Bregeut chronograph to time everyone tomorrow! I'll leave my Sub at home.
