I have to admit this thread has made this morning very amusing, but not too productive from a work standpoint....

I don't know, Tom, but I'd like to know who snapped that picture of me in my favorite red shirt at the last NASCAR event...

Regards,

Tom, you were the only bidder for that model. What does that tell you?

When you start telling us how the automotive world is going to Hell in a handbasket because the Camaro was discontinued, then I'll really start to worry about you.

Actually Brian it wasnt discontinued.

When I met Jim Wangers (the father of the GTO with DeLorean) some 23 years ago he signed a picture of my 68 Firebird and said it's a goat by any name. he went on to tell us how the GTO evolved into the firebird (big motor small car, small brakes, etc).

It just took a few years off, and morphed into the GTO.

If I drove a z28 (71-90's)
I would most certainly have a mullet. Lets face the facts that Red head mullets and red z28's would rock! like ACDC and Skidrow!

If you're gonna talk mullets, stick with the 70's-80's, and talk about the big hair bands like Nelson Bros, Poison, Motley Crue, Guns & Roses, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Warrant, Ratt, and Whitesnake!

And era I'd rather forget...

I call you guys, "friends I've never met".

What I like about the board is that with the exception of the occasional 'hole that gets in here, and even though we vary all over the place in age, location, occupations, etc. - we manage to help each other out, razz each other over the stupid things we've done and not seriously rip each other a new one. We share a common interest, we're "car guys" focused on the same cars and that, at it's best is just fun.
