Anyone have one? paragon is out of stock. I don't want to pay $$$ for a broadfoot one, hoping that someone has one available.

Have you tried the dismantlers? Ask them for an 83-84 w/o AC... should be some out there.

Just heard from the supplier - they'll be back in stock within a week or so.

Contact Albert Broadfoot/Broadfoot Racing. That's where I got mine. Runs about $130 or so, gold anodized, very nice item.

Me too!! Me too!!

I just talked to Jason yesterday about this, my tensioner broke and I was going to yank the A/C instead of replacing a $63 part. I went with a "temporary" fix. Skip, please bump this thread when they come in.

You still need the tensioner for A/C.

What the bracket does is to move the alternator to the lower AC compressor location. If you removed the A/C and did not move the alternator there would be no way to apply proper tension to the belt.

Strangely enough, my car came with the AC compressor removed but with the stock bracket and a belt on with what seems like good tension. Don't ask me how they did it though. Besides...... I've since bought the delete bracket from Paragon.
