924 Turbo? i had one of those engines: a 1.5 liter n/a Audi Fox.
totally insane little motor i couldn't kill.

Yes, i've had 3 motors let loose over the many years: an I-4 Porsche, V6 Ford.... and i had a Chrysler 440 blow up without warning one day in 1991. No warning other than that i was going ~135mph on a Sunday afternoon and definitely shouldn't have.
Perfect motor stuffed in the bay of a very good little car. Effed up day.
And I’m even thinking about replacing one of them with an LS..

I just bought another one (924 turbo) with a BEAUTIFUL body/interior and a pretty well built 2.0, but I’m itching for a V8..
Its a pretty peppy built long block, but at only about 12psi on meth with no intercooler, it’s not enough..

First I’m doing a pretty serious suspension/brakes/bearings/CVs refresh on it..

It has a 944 wide body on it, done right, seamless rockers, shaved front bumper, fiberglass rear bumper, 968 mirrors and door handles, leather covered dash by classic 9 leather, power Porsche script seats, all sorts..

So either I have to build an entire other system to support real boost, big turbo, big intercooler, big fuel..
Or put a V8 into it..

It has an LSD G31, freshly rebuilt too, so it’ll handle just about anything..

Dreaming LS7..

Got a couple pics of it next to my dream bus I spotted in Munising on the long road trip I just took it on up to Marquette, MI.. (I want an old Prevost some day)
I put lots of miles on my P cars.. I try to put ALL my miles on my P cars I can..
They also easily fit an entire camping setup including a girl..
Its magic what all can be stuffed into them.. Love em..
