Kinda in the same boat as James86-951. Got 6 kids though!! Ages 2-11. The baby is the only girl, and they are all red heads!!

Other than the kids, the 951, and the Durango, if I can find the time, I am into Astronomy (Meade LX90 8"), rocketry (150+ rockets, every thing from little Estes stuff to big 7' High power birds), oh and computers, if I can get the kids off of them! (half a dozen PC's Wi-Fi, all that) Sounds pretty geeky, huh?

Well said, Scott!! My sentiments exactly!!

This year, my Porsche experience has expanded: as my PCA region's track tech co-chair for DE, and a member of the board of govenors, much of my spare time is devoted to the club. (I gotta learn to stop volunteering for stuff within the club! )

In what spare time I can find, I'm a youth group counselor at my church (Cornerstone Chapel - it's a CMA church - Christian Missionary Alliance).

Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with the love of my life: my wife of 9 years. It just seems that there's never enough time to spend with her. We do have some hobbies that we enjoy together (no there's a thought!): ballroom dancing, gardening, and vacation! We've been going to national and state parks a lot lately. (Noteworthy parks: Skylands Manor & Park in Ringwood, NJ, Haleakala and Hawaii Volcanoes Ntl Parks, Mt. Rainier in WA, Assategue State Park in MD, Jockey's Ridge in NC, and of course, The Gorge at Watkins Glen State Park!)

You may think that I live a boring life, but I don't think so: I've got thrilling speeds in a racecar (DE & autox), I'm influencing young lives (youth group), and I have the most beautiful lady in the world by my side.

Oh, and I work for a car company: Mercedes-Benz. USA (Corporate Headquarters) in the IT department.

Full contact Olympic style taekwondo. Won the middleweight division at the New York state championships. Was going to go to the nationals but ruptured my Achilles a month before the tournament.

Other activities are kickboxing, jui-jitsu, grappling, wrestling, etc..

Hey now! If I'm not in school, or work, I'm fighting.

I have a great russian instructor, 2-3 time european champion, and a couple other stuff. One of the nicest guys I know. He has taught a couple of people who practiced/fought with UFC champion, Tito Ortiz.

Messing with my 2 computers. Listening to music, im always listening to music, so much so that my soon to be 944 is going to get a full blown car computer and a very nice deck and speakers. Two jobs. When I get time, hanging around with friends, watching movies, generally killing time. I also enjoy aimlessly driving around with the tunes blaring. Very relaxing.

Hmmmm, Can't say I work 40 hours 'cause I usually skip out at least an hour a day, so we'll leave it at 35 (damn banker hours). Hobby times usually go to:

1)hiding/escaping the wife and her honey-do list
2)eating fattening foods (mmm crawfish boil in Homer S. voice)
3)figuring out if I can scalp the grass in an attempt to not cut it next week
4)finding new roads to drive home, usually the ones that get me home after the kids have been fed, bathed and put to sleep
5)Inter-vehicle cross-communications (flipping the bird at crappy drivers)
6)complaining about my wife's greying hair (see No. 1 and 4)
7)putting icebags on my cheeks, facial and **** (see No. 6)
8)and my favorite, LOAFING

Well lets see, when I'm not fixing airplanes I guess my major other hobby is boating, lived aboard for 11 years on a 40 ft trawler, now ashore to refurb the boat. Thats the next big hobby, also just bought a house so now I have even more carpentry to do.....as well as the boat. Hobbies? I guess boating, shooting and playing with the Porsche. It's just that work interferes with the hobbies, oh well guess I'll just have to retire in a few years....

Cheers all,
Bill

Streckfu
Scotch ale for the holidays, bottled it last week. It came in a little more than "wee heavy" though (>9% abv)! I'll be starting a Dead Guy clone this weekend, and tapping my corny of Octoberfest today. I've only been into it since last winter, no all-grain yet (maybe next spring).
