Default Okay I'm confused...(sway bar)

I have tried searching but could not find a definate answer. I just bought the m030 rear sway bar (18mm) off of a 944 turbo S. Before I bought it I had found a source saying that the 86 turbo (mine) had a 16mm rear sway bar, but now I am finding sites that say they are both 18mm. Did I just throw $75 away?

I gotta ask. Why don't you just measure the one on your car?

Stock 951 rear sway bars are 18 mm, except mid-1989 and later, which have 16 mm rear sways. So yes, you just bought a part you already had. Should be easy enough to sell again. The larger sway bar on the Turbo S is at the front (26.8 mm hollow.)

Randy has a good idea. Why don't you measure your existing front and rear bars? Who knows if they are still stock. Maybe you got lucky and someone put the very desirable 968 M030 bars on.

Yours is probably already bigger, if it's stock.

EDIT-Waterguy beat me to the punch. What you're probably looking for is the 968 MO30 bar(s).
