Alright, as the title of the thread states i have a descision i need help with. I bought my car early this year enjoyed it, but decided it was lacking power. So i was considering an engine swap...about the same time..my timing belt strips..and there goes two valves. Now my car is still sittin in my driveway, head off, collecting dust.
I had fully built s2 engine lined up. But i havn't been able to get ahold of the guy i was going to buy it off of for about two weeks now. And without more power in the car im gonna sell it, cause although i love the car as a whole, i need more power.
Now should i,
1. Wait around for this guy to finally get back to me...( don't know if he will )
2. Repair my engine..BUT..sell the car once in running order
3. Wait till i can save up more money and buy an engine from somewhere else
4. GO NUTS!?!?!
Thanks for your guys' input,
Wagz
Oh ya..any suggestions appreciated....anyone in surrey wanna come take a look at my engine for me, lemme kno what you think?
thanks!

If the valve guides are in spec and not distorted from a bent valve; replace the bent valves and lap them in by hand or with a drill motor. Reseal the valve stems and put it back together. Get the krikit belt tension tool for the timing belt.
Drive it.
Transplanting an S2 engine requires a complete engine including the flywheel and sensor bracket, the DME unit and the DME wiring harness including the ignition modual and coil. There is also some fuel and vacuum plumbing changes. Don't forget the larger exhaust system too.
