Default gasping for power when cold

hey my 924S is acting strangely. when i am just turning it on, the thing literally gasps for power. seems like the throttle revs like normal out of gear, but something is just super weak in the actual power train before it warms up and then it has mostly normal power though it feels a little weak and choked up to compared to my previous 924S i had before i was out of the country a couple years.

I have changed the spark plugs and air filter. other than that I am open to things to consider.

I am enjoying tinkering on this thing, but my diagnostic skill is pedestrian

happy holidays

Have you considered changing the DME temp sensor on the front of the engine block?

Can't go wrong with that. They aren't expensive and after you change it, remember to bleed the cooling system of air. Normally, you won't lose any significant amount of coolant.

Sounds like either a vacuum leak or a partially plugged cat...

Temp sensor was my first thought too. But maybe Fuel filter? Air cleaner? Need plug wires or tune up? It has oil right? Just asking...
