Have a free spinning complete engine in my garage that I picked up for 50$. I bought the engine for the intentions of having a life size model that I could learn from but I found out it spins freely and was think it'd be a nice project. But I don't really know where t get a good quality engine rebuild kit and does it matter Wat year the engine is btw it's early I can tell by the timing belt tensioner. Thanks Chano

you should be able to look up what engine and the appx year by the casting number on the block , I believe the stamp is at the rear left side of the block if looking at it from the front .

Glyco bearings are OEM bearings. different stamps and packaging. otherwise same.
piston rings - Porsche OEM and Goetze are drop in rings, already come to size. LR rings might as it says 100mm but usually they're oversize so you can gap them yourself.
