Default S2 Battery drain!

I think my battery is draining slowly. Bought the car and the PO always had it on a trickle charger. Left it maybe 5 days without the charger and only cranked once before the battery went flat. Battery is only 1.5 years old. I've heard alarm system, door switches can cause a drain. Any other common areas to check?

Any lights that are intermittent? Switches that get stuck?
Might want to get the battery checked - PO might have blown it by keeping it on trickle charge. That kind of thing kills a battery.

The classic "pull fuses and relays until the current goes down" trick is still valid, should tell you which circuit is the culprit.

I don't know about the 944 but with my 924 the stupid clock running will drain the battery over a week period if I don't start the car

Check for draws and pull fuses.

Is there any aftermarket accessories installed?
