Very sad. I didn't think I'd get emotional about it, but...
I can be satisfied with myself for giving the car a re-birth (https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...highlight=saga) and the track time that all P-cars deserve.

Three Wheelin'
as I looked at the above photos, then re-read the entire saga of neglect, getting found, rebirth, re-purpose, then this ...... something inside me whimpered and died.
Believe me. I will be holding forth a different thought towards the rear aero diffuser I got. It will be raised up in memory of it's brother no longer with us, each time I take my 944 out on the road.
Long live the memory one who has lived, died, resurrected, then met the hand of the 'claw'..... never to run it to the rev limiter again.
Rest well in your new clothes, whether they be a new LG microwave, piece of rebar, or front fender of a Kia.
Your days of life as a Porsche are over .....
