id locve to play online, but
A) i have dial up 56k connection.. too slow most likely
B) i dont know how to play online.
any thoughts? is my connection fast enough, if so how do i do it?

A: You can buy the game at any Computer store, or Wallmart, or whatever for less than $10. It's really old and there are copies everywhere. Look for the yellow 996TT on the cover of the case.
B: We play IP games. Which means someone hosts (usually me) and everyone joins my room. I have a fairly fast connection, so this makes it easier for others to have less lag.
C: To play, once I've hosted a game and posted my IP to you guys, all you do is start the game and load your player as usual, and then click on MULTIPLAYER, and then on IP (peer to peer) Game. Then you enter the IP that I gave you. (123.45.67.890) and click join.
D: Lots of people play with 56k. You'll have a bit of lag, but since I turn OFF collision and damage, it won't affect your lap times.
E: We usually run stock cars, so don't worry if you haven't finished evolution and modded all the cars.
F: NFS PU runs best on Win98... if you have trouble downloading the internet update, go to EA.COM and go to the support section, and in the tech help section look up Porsche Unleashed for the PC. It gives you a manual link where you can force the download.
G: ADD-ON cars! There are 4 - make sure you have them all!
