Those look like Koni inserts - the ones used in a modified stock (fitchel & sachs) strut rather than the inserts for a factory Koni strut. True? At least they look exactly like the Koni inserts I received to modify my standard S2 struts.

That's correct, these are the inserts from Paragon. They are pretty easy to install with a hacksaw and a drill and work quite well.
