Default fs:'88 944NA AFM, DME with Wilks Chip

*SOLD* 113,000 miles on ecm (dme) & AFM. Wilks "race chip" with built in resister for cat delete and rpms up to 7000.

$400 usd including shipping.

Note: I have opened the afm & re-set the wiper contact patch to start fresh because I wanted the best performance.

I can provide more photos if you wish.
Doesn't include airbox or ducting but can provide at additional cost.

Somebody was desperately looking for a Wilks race chip not long ago,not sure if it was here or Pelican but it appears they are no longer available !
What did you replace it with ?

Thank you Phil. The Wilks has been good to me. But I'm going factory 16valve conversion for now. (so different ecm/afm requirement).

Do you race against 16 valve 944s models, or are they in a different class than your car?

No, the 16V cars would be in SP3 ... although when they combine the two classes at the PCA 90 minute Enduro at Mosport we are on track at the same time,usually 30 to 40 cars which makes it interesting when the pro drivers in the GT3 Cup cars lap you 10 times during the race

The cover on my AFM is sealed with what appears to be clear RTV. I would like to open it up and check things out since it's 30+ years old and has been sitting for a while. I presume that it opens up fairly easily once the RTV is cut? No screws or bolts or anything..??Comments please.

No screws just silicone holding it on. You have the right idea brother. Just be PATIENT & GENTLE.
