Default Piston Pins Cross Post to 944T Forum

Trying to get an engine assembled for an SP2 car in time for the Oct. 25 weekend PCA race at Daytona.
While waiting for a couple of months on rod modifications, gaskets, rings, etc., I mixed up my piston pins (88 NA engine) with what is obviously a set of 944T pins.
The 944T pins are slightly longer (they cover the pin lock ring groove in the piston with one lock ring in and pin bottomed against it).
I am all out of 2.5 NA parts but I verified that they are in fact different from a spare but useless (surface rust) set of pins.
I do have a couple of 944S short blocks I can tear into to scavenge the piston pins if I knew for sure they are the length of the 8V NA and not the turbo ones.
PET is useless in this matter because it only shows "piston with pin" and makes no note of separation between any of the 944 family pins.

Does anyone have an 8V NA and 944S engine torn down that can measure the pin lengths and verify one way or another if they are the same length before I tear down an S engine for nothing (not on site)..

Or....alternatively, does anyone just have a 944S engine disassembled that can verify that the piston pins are 65mm...? ( 64.90mm)

For the record....944T piston pins are +2mm in length @ 67mm.

Well, thanks for all the feedback...

Just for the record in case someone searches,

1987-88 944S piston wrist pins are the same as the 8V NA pins.

944T wrist pins are +2mm in length and also +2mm in wall thickness.
