Hey bud. I also still have the 86 White 944. I'd like around 3k, however. It has new carpeting, a very solid motor (rebuilt), and koni sports/#250's/Turbo Sways. It's just taking up space at my brother's at the moment. I can try to get pictures if you're interested.

Sharky, here's the deal. 87 924S. Black on black. cloth insert seats with viynal. Tinted windows, looks to have been repainted some time ago, the lower valance on the front is pretty chipped up. The body looks nice and straight, door seals are in pretty good shape, dash has a couple of cracks the run most of the depth of the dash. The shifter boot is not correct, there is no radio, the interior lights work, cargo area cover is there, so is the sunroof bag. The hood struts are good, door stops work, hatch relase doesn't work. Hatch struts are weak. tires look to wear even, no leaks from rack that I could see. Looked pretty clean by pump and rack, no undertray. Incomplete records, however the owners manual and warranty book are there with some history up to 1988. Carpet looks a bit faded especially in the hatch area. A/C blows cold appears to be R-12 though. Have no idea about water pump timing belts or clutch. Oil appears to be clean, no water, no gas smell. FPR smelled of gas on the vaccum side so I'd say thats on the way out. Plug wires appear ok. Incorrect (fram) oil filter. If you like vanilla milk shakes, just open the coolant tank! The guy at the car lot looked a me like a had three heads when I told him about the oil cooler seals being bad. Simple enough to fix though. The guy who runs the lot does a "We tote the note" thing, he's asking 3995 for it. With the things that the car needs NOW you should be able to talk him down. If you're interested give me a call 832 457 3186.

I have an 84 5 speed with new timing belt, balance belt, water pump, 3 angle valve job, valve seals, resurfaced head, and new head gasket set (all done with less than 15 miles on it moving it for street cleaning only). Clutch was replaced 5k miles ago by the last owner, has koni sport top adjustable fronts, rear yellow sports, blue weltmeister lowering springs, custom 2 1/2 inch exhaust, good leather seats with no rips, and 15 x 7/15 x 8 polished fuchs. It is white with brown interior with tinted glass all the way around other than the windshield. The paint is faded and has couple small dents but for $2500, I will get rid of it. I figure the work done on the car and the parts will be worth what I am asking for the car. It is not currently registered (less than one year out) but if anyone is interested in it, I am cleaning house and just sold 2 of my 3 turbos - I am on a roll.

Ooops, sorry, guess I had my head up and locked. Anyway thanks a bunch for the heads up! I think I have found my car though, I am almost certain I'm going to pick up dgz924s car. He has offered me a great car at a great price, and I don't think I can pass it up. To all, thanks for the help, Rennlist has been invaluable!

Cool no problem, now I can go look at it for ME. "But honey, this one has the same engine as the 944, and its black too, and it runs, and it just needs a little work, plus I wouldn't have to part with cash for it, I could make payments?!"
