Alternator Check Light - SOLVED

My alternator check refused to come on, and I had no charge until getting close to 3,000 1/min. No voltage on the blue exciter wire coming from the gauge going to the alternator. The wire was fine - just a bad connection.
As you can see there are 2 connectors right on top of the brake booster - for those that have the same problem you might want to check the top connector as shown below. The blue wire goes to the alternator. Some cleaning and - voila - problem solved.

My plug was corroded despite low resistance drop through this connector when using the DMM. DO not trust low resistance to tell you to check these connectors!
