ID help for a 924, from RRV.
Hi. We're trying to identify the car below, which ran at Rennsport Reunion V.
The Porsche media guide for RRV lists two 924's running in Group 5: a 1980 924 GTR, and a 1981 924 Carrera GTS Club. Our impression is this is a later year 924 GTR. And for example racingsportscars.com lists an #87 car in matching livery for the 1984 season, with driver Elliott Forbes-Robinson. Of course, late entries, omissions, evolution, alterations, and typos are all possible, so in the end just not sure.
What's the correct year for identifying this car?
