Lately I've been entertaining the idea of upgrading my turbo to a K 27/6, as well as upgrading my wastegate, and some other smaller things. The problem is, I don't know how to do this kind of work myself (it's certainly way too much for me to tackle alone, since I am pretty new to wrenching), and if I were to get this done at a shop the price would be to high for me to do it at all. Is there anyone within an hour or two of Pittsburgh that has replaced their turbo before and enjoys working on these cars enough to be willing to do this with me? (read: hold my hand through the whole process). I'm basically looking for someone with experience who can teach me this stuff, I figure having someone there to walk me through this is the best way to learn. I haven't yet decided wether or not I'm going to do this upgrade, and having someone help me through it is one of the pivotal points.

Oh, and of course if I take you up on this I'll take you out for a nice dinner or two somewhere.
