That's a Roloc style tool. It's meant for use in a die grinder or drill. So how did you use it, with your hand?

If a method is faster, that doesn't make it better.

I clean by hand with scotch bright & brake clean solvent & careful use of a razor. I take my time, but also don't discriminate if the aluminum is "stained", as long as it's smooth.
