Default Wheel/tire size help

I have an 86' 944 Turbo in need of tires.
I am not too sure on the the history of the car, but it currently wears 205/50/16s all around.
Is it a possibility that the previous owner has the same size wheels all around? I know you can fit bigger or smaller size tires on wheels, but I thought my rear wheels were an inch wider.... How can I find out if they are the same size wheels?
Any help would be great. Thanks

stock size is 205 front, 225 rear. i have this on my 16" fuchs wheels, they are all 16x7. its possible he put aftermarket wheels on it that are all the same size. chances are you have 16x7 front and 16x8 rear.

how about some pictures!?
