Default Tire and wheel juggling

I'm trying to figure out what tires to put on what wheels for my car. I currently have:

A set of cookie cutters with good high performance summer tires
A set of 15" Fuchs with rubber that used to resemble tires

I plan to drive the car 3.5 seasons (no salt or ice on the roads) of the year. The summer tires turn into ice skates below 50F, so they aren't an option for 4 months of the year in Maryland. I'm also thinking that the car might actually be more fun to drive around town with less sticky rubber, I can't get any slide at all with my NA engine and summer tires on public roads. So my first thought is:

Keep the summer tires on the cookie cutters for occasional autocross and DE.
Get a set of performance all-seasons for the Fuchs for year round driving.

I know the Fuchs are lighter and potentially perform better on track, but I'd hate to just have them stored most of the time. Opinions?

I'd hesitate to use the Fuchs in the winter with salt and crap on the roads. How about summer tires on the Fuchs for 8 months, and all seasons on the cookie cutters for those 4 cold months.

No, I meant I'll drive it for all but about 6 weeks when we have perpetual salt on the roads. A good portion of winter here in MD is cold but not quite cold enough for frozen precipitation.

I used to have a set of cookie cutter with all-season. change it to 7/8x15 fuchs with some all-season Falken 912 as daily, can't feel any difference.

I don't think it matter much for the weight difference advantage

I personally prefer to have a set of 7x16 if you are going to use the same set of wheels for dd as well as ax and dd. (I can only speak for stock class with 200tw) You will have a lot more tire choice. Well, not a lot, but more than 15 inch.

For 15 inch, you will get meaningful tire that is very low and not practical for dd..

Forget the all seasons, just get winter rubber for the car in 195/65/15. Cheap and hella fun in the same way that your thinking. I did exactly that on my 924S and it was a killer combo. Do it right.

Get some 16's for summer duty once these tires wear.
