Here is some information on the alignment tool if you removed the oil cooler housing during the rebuild.
"One of the things that I don't particularly like about the new style relief valve is that oil cooler housing alignment is critical to prevent binding of the relief valve. To accomplish this an alignment tool should be used when the oil cooler housing is being installed. Cars which have relief valve 944 107 035 02 use special tool 9262/1. Cars which use relief valve 944 107 035 11 use special alignment tool 9215. "

Michael, you did say it first; I was confirming something to check!
I'd also have to agree with checking the oil pan bolt and the oil on the dipstick, to make sure she has oil in her.
What alignment tool? The Porsche Mechanic handbook just said to put in shims! This was an updated version, too.

Thanks for all the advise. In my opinion it isn't a problem with the sender unit or lack of oil. I have plenty of oil on the dipstick, and my lifters are noisy when I start up the car, so the oil pump isn't building up pressure.
I've come up with the following:
Oil pressure relief valve stuck open
Oil filter valve not functioning
I used 20W50 for the first time in my engine, because this oil is thicker than the 10W40 I used before it could cause binding in my oil pressure relief valve. Perhaps the oil is to thick for a freshly rebuild engine.
Today I bought some 10W40 oil and a new Porsche oil filter, I'm going to change the oil tomorrow and replace the oil filter, also I'm going to check my oil pressure release valve.
I'll post my results when finished, wish me luck.

Do the stuff SoCalDriver said, but before you spin the engine, take out the oil pressure sender. Then spin it for only a couple seconds. See if oil gushes out the hole.
If yes, pressure relief valve is good, sender is problem. If no, replace the sender and remove the pressure relief valve. Spin again. See if oil gushes out hole.
If yes, the relief valve is the problem. If no, the problem is further "upstream", such as a leak sucking air somewhare between the oil pickup point and the pump. Never heard of a "bad" oil filter.
