Go find an underground parkade somewhere downtown and pay to park overnight if possible!

Hope everyone gets through this one OK, cars we can buy or fix; it's life and limb we need to think about!

...but not one that has any chance of flooding.
Be careful out there.

That part of NC most likely has no underground anything being that the water table is probably 16" below ground.

Tom,

Yup, thats my 5 year old GSP, Jake. They are incredible dogs.
He loves the snow, runs around in it like a maniac! But he is happier on the couch.

Must have been awful when you lost yours

Yup, Nadia was known as the ATD - All Terrain Dog. When she was younger we would take her along on mountain bike rides. She easily covered half again the distance of the ride as she zig-zagged across the trail, just following that GSP nose.

We actually lost both Nadia and our Akita/Shepard mix last year. Was quite a blow to us, but they have now been "replaced" by Sparky and Tully, our 2 Dalmatian mixes (what a pair: 90 pound Sparky mixed with Great Dane and 35 pound Tully, mixed with ??, maybe Spaniel?). The only "upsides" to losing your dogs are 1) Knowing that you gave them a great life while they were around, and 2) Rescuing the next set.

Im in Northern NJ right by Trenton right now at school...i leave my car to brave the storm in the parking lot. I remember the snow storm over the winter. That was truley awsome. I was one of 2 highschools still open on that day. I dug the car out and drifted the entire way to school =). The front valance was like a snow plow, the snow was about 2 inches higher that the front. I had fun doing donuts after they let us out early =).

Pretty much gone now, No Shingles lost, no major branches down. Just lots of leaves. Cars are fine, just covered in leaves.
