Default Pelican Parts -- process issues?

Has anyone else noticed that pelican's ordering process doesn't seem as well run as it used to? It's just little things around the edges (like holding orders while waiting for a $1 part, or missing scheduled delivery dates, indecipherable status/shipping updates...). I'm trying to figure out if I've just had a run of bad luck with oddball parts lately, which is quite possible, or if I'm seeing an unfortunate new trend emerge...?

+1, I just ordered a bunch of thing and usually if you order while a week end it was received that same week, I have ordered on a Friday and got my things 12 days after... which I though it was longer than usual.

Haven't had any issues and have made a half dozen orders in the past few months (bought a 3.2 911). Having moved from NY to SoCal its nice to get all of my stuff next day .

Have you tried reaching out to them? They are usually very quick to respond to questions.

I did contact them and in both cases they were quick to address it as best they can, but they can't turn back the clock once they're already are late. They could, however, offer to return expedited shipping costs when they fail to ship when they said they would, but for me its really more about reliability than the shipping cost. They're still my go-to place, I just thought I'd ask here because I've been buying there for years and only recently started having these issues.

p.s. have you posted pics of the 3.2 anywhere? Those are great cars. I regret selling my 85 years ago...

It's a cool car for sure, very surprising the difference between this and my 951 though. Both are '88 models. The 911 though is almost archaic in comparison to the 951. The later 944's i could see using as a daily but definitely not the 911. The raw feel of the 911 is no comparison though. Even with how extreme my 951 has become (LS1 swapped and a high end suspension geared towards track use) the feeling of the 911 is something completely unique.

Very cool car, looks great. They do have a special feel about them, no doubt about it.
