ready to install right rear for an S2?

That is very poor workmanship the plates should have been removed and the lift sorted it's not that difficult.

Adding a thought to this thread. I just remembered I had a problem with getting the pistons to fit the last time rebuilt my front calipers (Turbo S). I was told that the after market seals were slightly bigger than the original. I was lucky enough to score a set of original seals which solved the problem. Anybody else hear anything similar?

Endoman: I'm not an expert, but have been told that there is a 90% failure rate on the spring plate
screws when trying to remove them with corrosion involved, which results in them having to be
EDM'd out at great expense. It was a misunderstanding on what level of service I was buying
from the shop, and it is being sorted out to satisfaction.

I have had no problems when rebuilding them with Stoptech seals.

The problem is getting even pressure on the piston when you try to slide it back in the caliper. Besides using plenty of brake fluid on the seal and bore, I used this, or something similar. Craftsman 18-Inch Quick-Release Bar Clamp With Cushioned Grip Handles (sorry, couldn't post a picture).
