Default Flames out the ac vents

Looking for 12 vdc in the hvac harnesses. Had an electrical fire originating from climate control unit. CCU harness and unit trashed and hvac box damaged. Nearly lost the car, managed to snuff flames out but damage was extensive. Removed dash and performed repairs. Obtained harness and ccu. After testing 2 units no luck. Only blower works. It is on secondary harness that controls other items on the dash. Flasher, cigarette light etc. I have Porsche wiring diagrams, however of low quality. Has anyone performed tests on harness. I need to find source of power to ccu. I am convinced after several install checks ccu is correctly connected.
Perplexed

Fuse 29 feeds 12vdc from the fuse block at pin 15 on connector D through a red wire leading to pin #2 on the B connector at the CCU.

Default 931 Guru

I am familiar with the A and B connectors with 12 pins each, but not connector D and pin 15. Could you explain to the novice? Any help would be appreciated.

On the bottom side of the fuse block are several plastic connectors. They are labeled "A", "B", etc. The pins inside each connector are numbered, starting at 1, etc. these are not the connectors at the CCU, they are the connectors to the fuse block.
